Best Western Catalina Inn

We stayed here for a Softball Tournament and we enjoyed our stay; very clean and comfortable beds; breakfast was great.

The attendant in the office was very friendly; the room was very clean; bed comfortable and very close to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre.

Liked: Very clean and close to venue.
Disliked: None.

Liked: The hotel was nice for just a night. Clean and quiet. Close to a grocery store.
Disliked: We got to the lobby around 8am to checkout and get breakfast but there was nothing hot left. The cereal and coffee was fine.

Liked: The location was good for what I needed.
Disliked: I'm assuming this was a lower class motel at some time. I've never seen a Best Western with doors of the rooms opening onto the parking lot. When I got there, the tub was about half full of water and the bath mat was soaked. The shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty. Biscuits were cold , gravy was awful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice, clean place to stay...

Liked: Remodeled room of a classic retro motel. The room was clean. Technology was up to date- good WiFi, nice TV and channel selection. Bed and pillows was very comfortable- got a good nights sleep.;
Disliked: The room was a little small, bathroom felt cramped. Highway noise was noticeable.

It was an okay trip

Liked: I loved the location and staff was friendly. But the breakfast food was gross and not much of a selection. For the room almost half of the electric outlets didn’t work, the hairdryer didn’t work, the fridge barely kept the drinks cold, and the beds were just a little to small for two adults
