Best Western Carowinds

Exceptional

Liked: We did not take the breakfast , but the hotel was very clean and comfortable .

Good

Liked: They hotel had breakfast and the room had a jacuzzi tub. There were also a lot of places to order deliver from. The staff were also nice. Clean towels and linens from what I could tell. The water was nice and hot. Breakfast was very basic but decent.
Disliked: The coffee maker was in the bathroom and the fridge didn't have a freezer. The hotel smelled wet and like it had previous water damage, I'm highly allergic to mold and was having a mildnreaction the entire stay. Given the location and the past hurricanes I'm not really surprised though. The ac in the room wasn't great and the bed was hard. The couch was stained really bad and I did not want to sit on it. The tv was confusing to use and not very user friendly. I used the jacuzzi tub and had to take a shower immediately after because the water made me very itchy. I tried it again the next morning and was fine so I'm not sure if the tub was cleaned properly after someone used a bath bomb or something. Not anyone's fault but the place felt old and a little rundown.

Disliked: The rooms were older so they weren’t updated. Also they were clean but not very well.

Fine for quick weekend getaway...

Liked: We visited Carowinds and this is directly across the street from the park. The location is great, a little off the main road and around the corner, but quite.
Disliked: Room was clean.

I would not stay here...

Liked: The location to Carowinds
Disliked: No extra blanket in room for pull out couch and the man at the desk gave me one. It had long black hairs on it. Not enough pillows in room either

Great stay, would definitely recommend.

Liked: Staff was super welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean. Plenty of towels, shampoo, etc. was available in the room.
Disliked: No dislikes.

My husband step daughter and...

Liked: The breakfast was pretty good and the location was okay to. Everyone that gave a negative review must be stayed at another Best Western. The pool was very fun as well.
Disliked: I dont have anything negative to say.
