Book through the hotel next...

Liked: Breakfast was adequate.
Disliked: Bathroom sink was slow to drain, hot tub was out of order. There was a serious water pipe leaking in the breakfast area. I was told by management that I paid double the rom rate by booking through Booking.com.

Liked: The breakfast and the pool were very good. Many of your staff are excellent.
Disliked: Major safety concern in our room (Rm 310). When we opened the door for fresh air, the balcony railing was found to be missing bolts on the top and the the bottom, where it is secured to the wall. There was no notice on the sliding door alerting us not to open the door. The front desk receptionist (an older woman) was very rude. When I advised her of this safety concern, she replied, "why did I open the door? The room was scheduled for construction the following week." She basically asserted that it was my fault because I opened the door. There was no notice on the sliding door alerting us not to open the door. I also asked why we were put in Room 310 with two young children under 5 with such an unsecure railing. Once again, she replied that it's going to be fixed next week. I told her that I took a video of the railing, so no one else should be placed in that room until the railing is fixed. She never replied, *PLEASE NOTE: If Best Western is interested, we will share with them the video of the railing. We understand that there are inconveniences and challenges with such a large scale reconstruction, but some shortcuts should never happen.

Disliked: under construction- loudlast night - Friday - very loud from other people staying there until after 1 am- had to call front desk

Will never deal with Best...

Liked: There was nothing to like about this hotel or the staff
Disliked: The hotel was under construction. It was not noted when I called the hotel. There were no lights in the hallways there was trash piled up in the hallways the carpet was bunched up and it was a tripping hazard there was wires hanging from the ceiling. The staff were the most miserable people I've ever encountered at a hotel. The breakfast was cold

Disliked: Dear Booking.com and Best Western, Hyannis (J. Patel),WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! Let me get this straight. Who is paying for this room........OH, IT'S ME!!!We came for a week to relax and enjoy the pleasures of the Cape. First, hotel does not tell us they have major construction going on. Workman and supplies and noises all day long.Second, they call while we are out eating to say we have to move our room. They move us and the room was not dusted or vacuumed. What the H? Tried to speak with manager - he was too busy and ignored calls/requests. Doubtful people behind the desk were responsible for these major issues.Third, no compensation, no remuneration, no reduction - NO RESPECT!SO COME ON GUYS WHAT’S UP WITH THIS. Tell someone what is going on. Now instead of having a steady regular once or twice a year customer, we will be taking our business elsewhere.And advising others to do the same.Realizing fully, nothing will be done about any of this. I still feel compelled to bring it to the surface and your attention.Gimme a break, guys!!!!!
