Disappointing

Disliked: If you are jetlagged and need to sleep late, don't stay here. The cleaning staff goes into full mode at around 8am yelling at each other across the hallways.

Clean, spacious room, OUTSTANDING, accommodating...

Liked: The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, if a typical American hotel breakfast. What made it such a great experience was the staff persons. Line and Michele were hard-working, extremely friendly and very solicitous of the needs and wants of myself and my husband. They kept the food bins full, were ever vigilant in wiping down counters, tables and equipment after spills and crumbs, etc. When they had time, they chatted with us and helped us practice our French speaking! We looked forward to breakfast every morning of our four night stay because of them. The rooms were spacious, very clean, as was the entire hotel. From the hotel location, it was a breeze to access Old Town and downtown Montreal in our car.
Disliked: One night, arriving back late from touring in Montreal, we tried to enter the hotel through the door nearest to our room. It was not accessible (yellow light flashing instead of green) undoubtedly due to security and the late hour. We entered through another door okay with our key cards, but when we got to our room our key cards did not work. The hotel is large and we had the very farthest room from the lobby. After a long day, the walk back and forth seemed like miles. So more information about what doors not to use up front would have been helpful and saved us quite a trek.

Liked: Did have a pool, sauna
Disliked: Price, noise in hallway by staff shouting at each other. Was supposed to be queen bed in room, was more like double.

Great; would recommend.

Liked: Nice room, comfortable beds and linens, quiet, mini fridge, easy access to car outside door, pool and spa, good breakfast included and foods/drinks kept well stocked by staff even though it was a busy/crowded morning, proximity to restaurants.
Disliked: A slimmer pillow option would be appreciated.

Disliked: The heater air conditioning wasn't working. Too noisy.

Liked: The bed is very comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants around there. It's easy to take a bus.
Disliked: A bit far from downtown if you don't have a car.
