Disliked: Locked out my room all night

Excellent short break in Felixstowe...

Liked: We have stayed at this hotel before under previous owners. Pierre Marco White has totally refurbished it and rebranded, it was superb, extremely comfortable and very friendly staff. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was so roomy, loved the bathroom .Restaurant looked good although did not eat there ourselves.
Disliked: Nothing all perfect for our short stay.

Liked: reception staff Tracy and Dave were great fun
Disliked: One member of bar staff, clearly didn't want to be there

Very nice just need to...

Liked: Location was great and the adjoined pub was excellent albeit expensive.
Disliked: The room shower was a mere trickle; not what I would expect for a deluxe room . Also our room door took some effort to close due to it not fitting properly. Also, biscuits in the room were not replaced daily: quite nice after a long day by the seaside.

Liked: Staff were really helpful and the bar staff really friendly.Some rooms have been modernised Great restaurant and barLovely food
Disliked: I've stayed here quite a few times, and each time, I've had to search for staff at the check in desk which can be a little frustrating. Every room I've stayed in, the showers are not great in terms of cleanliness with shower heads partially blocked.Would be good if iron and ironing board was already in the room. After a long day and having to carry the iron and ironing board along with luggage to a room located some distance from the check in desk can be a pain. Small things that would go a long way.

Comfortable well equipped rooms and...

Liked: We had 3 rooms - one of which was the family room which was beautifully decorated and large and comfortable. We were all near each other and had a few occasions of being locked out of the room due to children's antics but the receptionist was very patient and helpful letting us in. We spent some time in the bar and enjoyed our time there together very much.
Disliked: We couldn't lock the door from the inside in one room so the children escaped' hence being locked out when we ran after them.

Liked: The property was very comfortable. Was in an ideal location and the staff were so helpful and friendly! I would like to give a special thanks to Dave who served us breakfast both mornings and was so lovely and friendly and really made our stay amazing! And to the lady on the desk the Friday we checked in who found us a fan! As it was so hot ☺️
Disliked: Nothing- everything was great
