It was the right spot...

Liked: The staff was friendly. I had to arrive early due to having a medical procedure performed at the hospital. Joe was able to find me a room available that met my immediate needs, no stairs. He went out of his way to accommodate me, was cheerful, professional and kind. Even when I interacted with other employees, they responded to my good morning/afternoon comment with a smile and returned of my greeting.
Disliked: This property could use some updating. It is old and it shows. My sink was cracked, the walls had been repainted many times, so lumpy looking. No coffee pot in the room. The air conditioning while working had to be turned down to 64 degrees with the fan running all the time just to keep the room somewhat comfortable. There is no safety night lighting in the room for those of us who get up during the night. Breakfast was adequate, but luke warm when I arrived about 8:00 a.m. More health friendly items would be good. Coffee was EXTREMELY bitter. Even adding 3 creams, left the coffee still almost black and that was the regular, not the bold coffee.The bed was comfortable and clean, but sheets were well worn. Again, updates are needed.The TV had CONSTANT blurring on the screen. It was difficult to watch.

Liked: The beds were great!
Disliked: The air conditioner did not get cold enough. I heard other people complaining about the air conditioner. The girl at the front desk needed better communication skills!
