Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel

Great location and staff!

Liked: The history architecture and updated bar area. The veg pizza was great!
Disliked: The breakfast was weak and expensive

Adequate.

Liked: Reasonable location. Plenty of parking.
Disliked: Restaurant shut. I was not warned until after the booking was made. Food in the bar was uninteresting.

Charming building- lovely location

Liked: Clean newly refurbished charming property
Disliked: Very noisy floor boards creaking. Sound proofing needed between rooms. Draught excluder needed to stop door rattling

The staff were so helpful...

Liked: The location was great for a visit to Canertbury. The breakfast was very good, although it would be nice to get a decent Decaff coffee, instead of a sachet.
Disliked: The coffee sachets in the room were not very nice

Pleasant

Liked: Convenient to walk into town. Comfortable bed. The only staff member we met was polite and helpful.
Disliked: Grounds and outside a bit uncared for. Limited choice of food.

Liked: Spacious in its own grounds yet still within 10-15 mins walk to centre
Disliked: Nothing

Brilliant fir ease of getting...

Liked: The breakfast not quite up to expectations I knew works were being carried out so the breakfast area was closed but we have had much better breakfasts elsewhere with a better variety
Disliked: The air conditioning in the room, yhe room was very hot and I could not get it to work

Comfortable stay

Liked: Good size rooms, well decorated
Disliked: Bathroom fittings a bit dated and wobbly towel rail not secured to the floor very well.
