Disliked: Rooms were not cleaned properly-some of the toilets had stains of previous use, bathroom tiles were coming off, and more importantly, couple of the group members- they had bite marks.

Liked: My bed, although a single, was incredibly comfortable, and one pillow out of the 4 in the room was absolutely perfect for my 55 year old, creaky neck!! The staff were excellent and the rooms very clean.

Really enjoyable and the hotel...

Liked: Most of the staff were amazing especially Michael on the reception desk and the lovely lady who served us our breakfast. The hotel was a little old fashioned and we ran out of toilet paper and there wasn't a hair dryer in the room but the house keepers were most attentive and sorted it out quickly. Breakfast was really lovely and well cooked although the kettle broke and there weren't any glasses or coffee cups!!! It was a bit Fawlty Towers at times but we enjoyed the charm and quaintness of the place. You could order food in and eat it in the bar area which was great as we arrived late and didn't feel like going out again. Beds were super comfortable.
Disliked: The lady in the bar on Saturday was a bit grumpy and closed the bar at 10pm! Felt a bit conscious that the neighbours could see into our bedroom!
