Beresford Hotel

Very enjoyable

Liked: Breakfast very good - really good quality and nice setting
Disliked: We had booked in with a 6month old baby and were initially given a room on top floor with no lift that floor. Asked for room to be changed and it was, but very silly to book family with a baby in room with only access stairs.

Passable

Liked: I liked the fact that it was close to the river and temple bar.
Disliked: The area is very noisy at night cause of the bus station nearby. And a crow and gull population that like to make noise.

Perfect for a short stay

Liked: Breakfast is really good and the staff really nice. Everybody at the hotel was very polite and friendly. Good location next to the main train station and breakfast was really good.
Disliked: Bathroom a bit outdated with a bath shower. It is ok but not ideal.

Liked: Beds comfy, room clean. Staff nice.
Disliked: Breakfast was not worth £12, Our room though comfy was at the back of the hotel with obscured glass and pigeons squawking all night while trying to sleep.

Superb

Liked: Super friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Great Irish breakfast and buffet options for breakfast. The room was clean and good size. Some noise due to central location, but the hotel is within walking distance from key areas of Dublin.

Good base for a weekend...

Liked: The hotel had everything we needed for a short stay and it was in an ideal place to work into Dublin.
Disliked: The staff could have been a bit more helpful / customer friendly. It was very loud in the early hours from the people outside.

Excellent

Liked: Room very clean and cosy/homely. It was warm and inviting. Staff are friendly and humorous and excellent at their job. I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment
Disliked: Noise of guests moving above but I don’t think that can be helped
