Bentinck Hotel

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, with great recommendations for what to do and where to go. The hotel is literally a few steps away from the train station. They allowed us to check in early at no extra cost; and they held our luggage for us after check out so that we could go and explore without carrying all our stuff about with us.
Disliked: First time trying a communal bathroom. While we had no issues at all, I would prefer a bathroom in the same room.

Liked: It was good location…the room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfyThe breakfast was good and the breakfast room/bar was a lovely space
Disliked: Not having a toilet/basin/shower in the room…was told but I didn’t like it.

Liked: Very comfortable beds, great location immediately opposite the train station.Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, more than usual.Staff were very friendly and checking in was easy.
Disliked: Room was very dusty in areas. Not sure it gets a full clean between guests is it's clearly built up over timeStating the breakfast is included is a bit of a stretch. Toast and cornflakes are included, if you want a breakfast it's £8 for a small full English.

Disliked: I was a little disappointed with the breakfast (no eggs on offer).

Overnight stay

Liked: Good value. Good breakfast, handy location
Disliked: We were aware it was a shared bathroom but weren’t concerned as it was just an overnight stop but didn’t think about filling the kettle, it was a bit awkward. We didn’t have to wait for the bathroom at any point.
