Liked: Good Location in a nice setting. Friendly helpful staff. Good quality breakfast ingredients.Short walk into Hitchin Town centre.
Disliked: Breakfast could have been hotter.

Disappointing

Liked: The black lady on reception, (sorry don't know her name) was very warm & welcoming. The location was ideal for my needs. The bed, single, was very comfy.
Disliked: The room was very dated, woodchip on the walls & ceiling peeling in places. No TV or radio. Very basic. Did not like when entering the "reception" more a large office with several people in there they all stopped talking & looked at me upon my entry.

Disappointing

Disliked: Strong smell of the mould in the room, dirty walls and carpet, spiderwebs on the lamp above the bed, insect traps in the bathroom.

Liked: The only positive thing about the hotel was the sound of music which comes from the people who were playing in down floor.
Disliked: The dirtiest room I have ever stayed. The room was smelling disgusting especially the beds. I could not even use the duvet. Totally not recommended
