Friendly hosts and delicious Indian...

Liked: The hotel is handy for Nottingham, Derby, East Midlands airport and the M1.The restaurant serves really good Indian cuisine with some Nepali specialties. There is a good choice for vegetarians. We asked for an Indian breakfast which was delicious.The hotel has recently changed management and the new managers were excellent hosts and they both went the extra mile to make us welcome and to make our stay comfortable.The hotel is just across the street from a canal path which is a secret nature corridor through to Trent Lock.
Disliked: There are lots of vegetarian options on the menu- a vegetarian ‘chefs Special’ would be a nice addition.Be careful to register your car for car parking as the car park is managed by a private company.

Liked: Close to the venue we were attending. Staff were very friendly and welcoming
Disliked: The room was very dated and quite scruffy. There were insects on one of the pillows and the bedding was marked in places. Pillows really need replacing. No back on the remote for the TV and the ariel kept falling out. The room wasn't particularly clean . Not acceptable for the cost of the room

Liked: Very clean property, great food, and the staff are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet.I will definitely be staying again when I’m in the area .

Liked: The room was spacious, bed very large and comfortable and the shower was good. Easy walk into town center
Disliked: We were not informed that the room would not be cleaned unless we asked. Apparently some people do not like staff to go into their rooms, hence nothing was done in our room

Liked: after a long travel day was lovely to have a comfy room very clean friendly staff polite bus stops within a short distance to get to Nottingham Derby

Lovely hotel, would stay again.

Liked: Lovely and spacious. We had 3 rooms for 1 night which were all lovely. The family suite was very spacious.Accommodated an early check in for an additional charge.
Disliked: No lift and we had many bags and a cot to take upstairs, although staff did help with carrying things.
