Retro Vibes and Easy Access in Bend

Campfire Hotel brings a cool, vintage-inspired atmosphere to Bend, Oregon—just under a mile from the buzzing city center. Its laid-back style, cozy rooms with cable TV and mini-fridges, and close proximity to both urban nightlife and outdoor adventure make it a great base for music lovers looking to explore the town before and after the show.

Why Concert-goers love it

With downtown Bend less than a mile away, you're just a short stroll or ride-share from local music venues and bars. Guests love the easy access to shows and the chill, camp-style vibe that makes late-night returns feel like coming home. While it's close to the action, the hotel is tucked in a quieter part of town—ideal for a restful night after a loud encore. Plus, the 4:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM checkout offer just enough flexibility for travelers rolling in for evening shows or sleeping in post-concert.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends will appreciate the social outdoor spaces and Instagram-worthy decor.
Solo travelers chasing that once-in-a-lifetime gig will feel right at home.
Couples can turn a concert night into a romantic getaway.
Fans seeking quiet recovery will enjoy the peaceful setting away from the main drag.
Budget-conscious music lovers will find solid value in the location and amenities.

Food and Drink Options

While there's no on-site restaurant, guests love the walkable access to Bend’s local eateries—perfect for grabbing a bite before or after a show. Some nearby spots offer late-night menus, and the city’s foodie scene means breakfast after a long night is never far away. There’s no 24/7 room service, but the in-room mini-fridge makes snack storage easy.

Nightlife Options

Campfire Hotel is close to Bend’s vibrant bar scene, where you’ll find craft breweries, cocktail spots, and live music venues just minutes away. Whether you’re looking to keep the night going or wind down with a local IPA, there's something nearby for every vibe. Back at the hotel, the outdoor fire pit creates a social, festival-like atmosphere for guests to mingle.

What People Say

Guests rave about the stylish retro design, friendly staff, and the fun outdoor spaces like the pool area and fire pit. Many mention the great location for exploring Bend's breweries, shops, and music venues. Travelers also highlight the clean rooms and good value for the price.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the walls can be a bit thin, so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs—just in case your neighbors are still humming last night's setlist. Also, while the vibe is laid-back and fun, there's no on-site breakfast, so plan ahead if you're not a morning person.

Jade, Aumsville, visiting Oregon Spirit Distillers

I liked the location of the hotel; within walking distance of the concert venue, food and various entertainment. The bed was comfy and clean; bathroom was kind of small. Wish the hot tub had better jets and later hours.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Hot tub jets were weak and the cleaning crew tried to tell us it was closed, though hours were posted.

Good

Liked: Fun atmosphere
Disliked: Parking was bad and the fact they only give you one parking space per room. We had 3 people in the same room but two cars and wouldn’t give us another pass.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Disappointing

Liked: Morning staff was helpful. We usually look forward to staying here.
Disliked: The staff at check in was not helpful. A bit rude. Did not inform us that our grand child would be kicked out of the pool at 5 pm, however let someone's dog stay in the pool area during the "pool party". It seems more important to cater to partiers than paying guests. Also, not good parking. We had a trailer and were told we couldn't park on site. We also wonder why the fire pit area closes at 10 for "quiet hours' but the cantina area is loud until 11 or later. The annex area- rooms across the road- are not really an upgrade. Further away, but they feel like an after thought, not the fun vibe of the main building.
