Disliked: Soundproofing wasn't great and the rooms and hallways could use a decor refresh

Comfortable stay with lovely views

Liked: Nice location. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff on reception and in the lounge and dining areas were lovelyThe hotel is pet friendly which meant our dog could come with us
Disliked: The food wasnt greatThe hotel could do with being updatedThe view from our room would have been even better if the glass in the windows had been cleaned. They were very dirty on the outside.

Liked: Easy to find, parking available
Disliked: Tap in the shower fell off when I tried to start the shower, took me ages to work out how to turn to hot water on after that

Great staff, grand old building

Liked: Great location, beautiful grand building. The staff were all very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.
Disliked: Some of the common areas could use a bit of a refresh, but conditions are to be expected for the age of the building
