Allan is a superb host....

Liked: The highlights of our 4 nights visit were definitely Allan's wonderful hospitality and the incredibly generous and high-quality breakfast. Our room was spacious and enjoyed amazing views across to the mainland and of Goatfell. The guesthouse provides great value for money when compared to other Arran options and is only a couple of minutes from the ferry terminal and the large Co-op supermarket. If we return to the island, then we will book The Belvedere again without any hesitation.

Good old fashioned hospitality.

Liked: Relaxed, able to get everything we needed. Great breakfasts. close to the centre. Lovely and quiet even although it was full. Allan very helpful.

Liked: Very accommodating and friendly host. Everything about the stay was excellent.

Exceptional

Liked: Belvedere is situated just a short walk from the ferry terminal, along a street with fabulous views over Goatfell and the bay below. My room was convenient, had a thick cosy carpet and a warm duvet. Breakfast was excellent!The host Allan was very helpful and gave good information.
Disliked: The only disadvantage was that my bathroom was adjacent, but it was only used by me, and it worked.
