Pleasant

Liked: It was in good condition and visually appealing to stay there.
Disliked: The bedroom was really really hot at night and we had no sleep because the AC was very noisy on and off every few mins all night. Bathroom was super hot too as the mirror was heated.

Disliked: It states that it is child friendly but there is not much a child would like to or be able to do other than sit around or provide own entertainment (I.e no play equipment outside the bar area on a warm say)

Liked: The breakfast and the restaurant staff at breakfast were friendly
Disliked: The dirty rooms, stained towels, dirty toilets by the bar and wine bottles and empty cans outside front by reception. Also just lack of cleanliness in the male locker room for spa area. Very dirty showers and lockers

Liked: Two double beds in the room which was spacious. We liked being able to open a window. Food was good in restaurant and staff friendly and helpful
Disliked: Very limited choice of vegan dishes in restaurant.The shower was difficult to operate and was placed too near the edge of the bath. No hot chocolate on tea / coffee tray

Liked: Breakfast choice was excellent and self serve ideal , i had several meals all were of a very high standard and would happily return and use the dining facilities. Rooms on both stays were great however the suite on the second booking was outstanding.

Disappointed as it could of...

Liked: Breakfast was decent, the location of the hotel is nice and the staff are breakfast were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Some staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. The facilities in the room were lacking, one of the towels was stained. The changing rooms for the spa area were filthy and the showers in there were extremely dirty with empty bottles and swimming costumes left all over the place. The lockers were dirty too, the gents toilets by the bar area were extremely filthy and had used tissues on the sink, empty pint glasses and bottles. The grass area by reception there was more used glasses and empty beer and wine bottles. The lack of being able to check in early was also disappointing. The aircon in the room was extremely noisy too. The tables in the bar area were sticky, only once mentioned did they then get cleaned.
