Ok.

Liked: Rooms were spacious and clean. Liked the free mini bar. Staff were lovely and helpful. Stunning grounds and great location. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Noisy pool area. Not at all relaxing. Full of children diving in and out and people just taking up the jacuzzi ever when it was turned off. The dinner was equally disappointing with 2 lots of very drunk noisy men singing and being rude. They were also at it in the rooms nearby. And this was before 9pm! I thought the meal was ok but could have been better. Started was very small. 3 small pieces of cauliflower in tempura batter. .the main lamb pie was ok. But not amazing.! My partner had the fish and there were hardly any peas with it. Could have been better for sure. I would avoid in summer holidays if a relaxing spa break is required !

Great hotel for golf and...

Liked: This is a lovely hotel, with golf courses giving beautiful views. We thought the staff were all excellent, from the pool lifeguards to the bar staff. All friendly, polite and attentive. The pool is good, well equipped gym and nice decor in the lounge and bar. We had a very comfortable, family room with good sized double beds. Three of the family played golf and rated it highly, whilst I also found plenty of nice walks in the surrounding area. It all felt clean.
Disliked: We ate in the Lounge, the food was hugely delayed, over priced and some poorly cooked. Particular lows were the £4.95 for a single (potato) bread roll to stave off hunger and the small bowl of salad leaves for a similar price. My son parted with his own pocket money for an ice cream, as we had low confidence by then, this also felt over priced for three small scopes at £7. We would eat out in future. The air conditioning clinked and clanked alot slightly upsetting sleep, we reported it in the morning to be fixed.

Waste of money!!

Liked: The bed is comfortable
Disliked: The whole reason we went was for the facility which was stated on the description and when we arrived there was a sign that the hot tub was not in use! Very disappointing as I would have booked a place where everything was working!!! Not very relaxing as it’s school holidays so the pool was full of children (which is good for families) but not good if your thinking your going for a relaxing spa!!! Secondly there was a stench in the air we tried to eat outside but that wasn’t very pleasant!! The final thing was we discovered was waking up to ants freely walking around!! We were on the first floor and there were ants in the room! I informed the receptionist who simply said she would get the maintenance to the room as we were leaving so hopefully someone else will not experience what we did!! I took pictures and videos!! The video shows them all along the skirting board underneath the phone and walking on walls!! I do feel they should have updated the descriptions that not all facilities are in use as if this was the case I would never have gone there!!! I also did email the manager Olivia Dickinson I am still waiting for a response!
