Gross
Disliked: garbage, crumbs and substances on almost every surface was dirty. Stains on the walls above our beds and headboards. Saw 3 rooms before we had to settle on one. Everywhere stunk and the 2nd room smelled of mildew. No refunds! Beware!

I cut it short.
Liked: Staff was friendly and I could see that they are trying to improve the property.
Disliked: My floor had a funny smell. The door had a huge gap and one of the locks didn’t work. The noise from other rooms and maybe mechanics (?) were bothersome. It’s just an old property that needs work.

Superb
Liked: The beds are comfortable and had a good rest after flying from Alaska to Seattle then Bellingham.
Disliked: The handle to the bolt lock in rm 325 is missing and just had to rely on the regular door lock and the security bar that slides over the door. Didn't really feel to safe however the night guy at the front desk assured me that he does security rounds.

Totally dissatisfied with the lack...
Disliked: The room I checked into was not cleaned and smelled horrible. The toilet was clogged and couldn’t flush and the bed linen was very dirty. I reported it and got changed to a room that was only a little cleaner and the face basin was badly clogged until I reported it. It’s obvious the rooms aren’t properly cleaned or checked before booking people in them. The 12pm check out time is misleading, it should be stated that it attracts a $10 fee when booking online also the $100 deposit should be mentioned when booking online.

Passable
Liked: It was convenient to our destination, it was inexpensive in comparison to other motels in the area.
Disliked: It's run down, homeless person in lobby. Now, I get it - I appreciate the staff helping someone when it's cold. I have to just trust the staffer trusts this person enough not to be an issue with theft. I hate to stereotype, but that's just the realty. It wouldn't stop me from staying there again.
