Very good

A nice, quiet stay, but...

Liked: The location was nice, and the balcony overlooking the lake was peaceful.
Disliked: The unit had some maintenance issues, such as the bathroom sink did not drain well and the shelving over the sink in the coffee area was sagging and looked like it could collapse easily. The air conditioner made a lot of noise and was not very efficient.

Liked: We enjoyed our two night stay at Bella Vista Suites, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, the extra half bathroom and full size kitchen was an added bonus. The location was excellent, about a five minute walk to downtown Lake Geneva, which is important because parking can be at times during the summer season.

Disliked: A little dated. Not a lot to offer at the hotel. No bar, no breakfast.Loud A/C right next to the bed blowing right at you.

Liked: Very dated and falling apart on the outside. Very 80s interior and so bad overall.
Disliked: Everything but the view was bad

Exceptional

Liked: Staff was excellent. Provided us with a lake view upgrade at no extra charge and we didn't even ask for it! Also had our room available for check in an hour early as requested. Great location. Allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Disliked: Took a while to get the TV figured out. Although the separate instructions provided by the hotel helpwd.

We will not be coming...

Liked: Location to the beach. Multiple bathrooms.
Disliked: When we called the front desk to ask if we get new sheets because upon arrival we noticed our sheets were dirty (hairs, smudges, stains) his reply was, “ If you change them.” Upon going downstairs to get the clean linens, he never apologized for the inconvenience of having to change my own bed linens that are supposed to be clean in the first place. When I got back to the room to change the sheets, I discovered that he had give me the wrong size mattress sheet. So once again, I had to back downstairs to get the correct sized sheet and there was still no apology from the front desk worker. The comforter was also stained but we no longer had the mental energy to address the situation any further.
