Liked: It was a lovely stay, great nights sleep. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Definitely would like to stay again .

Liked: Dinner Friday evening was very good.Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Hotel had character.Staff member carried my bag as the room was on first floor, and my knees are not good.
Disliked: Fresh water in room. Water from bathroom tap had a slightly unpleasant taste, I wasn’t sure if it was drinkable, although glasses were in the room.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, exceptional breakfast service by Yasmin. Bathmats provided on request. Good facilities and pleasant seating areas in the evening. Parking permits available on arrival.
Disliked: Rather long corridors to negotiate and multiple doors when carrying luggage to the bedrooms in the hotel, but only to be expected in such an historic property.

Liked: Loved this historic building and the wonderful location immediately oppositeTewkesbury Abbey. Couldn't fault the very friendly staff and breakfast was good and freshly cooked
Disliked: Unfortunately the standard of the room was very disappointing , you could hardly swing a cat as most of the room had been sacrificed to create the en suite bathroom. The bed was very squishy which didn't make for a good nights sleep. The bathroom had been half-refurbished with new tiles and shower fitting put in over an old bath., a shame not to do the job properly
