Great location and room was...

Liked: Lovely old building and great parking. When we arrived (a Saturday) there was a great guy playing guitar and singing outside in the outside seating area- lovely atmosphere immediately. We liked the fact it was in Tewkesbury and a few minutes to shops, restaurants etc. we overlooked the Abby which was beautiful. The lady who greeted us was really welcoming
Disliked: The breakfast area was very dark and not welcoming. Not much choice in cereal or pastries so didn’t eat there. The bar staff were not great, they need training in hospitality and being warm and friendly as these were not in place and badly lacking.

Good base for exploring Tewkesbury...

Liked: old world charm. good parking facility. The staff Jay and Lucy were particularly helpful and welcoming.
Disliked: It was difficult to regulate the temperature of the water in the hand basin. ( very hot, difficult to get cold water)

Very good stay, friendly staff...

Liked: Friendly check in staff, nice breakfast, fruit and yoghurts etc, nice downstairs old pub interior, an old building indeed. Good location. Comfy beds.
Disliked: Some of the older rooms are a little dated in the main bedroom. No biscuits.

Liked: Very nice hotel with exceptionally polite and kind staff, especially Lucy who served us snd had great customer service

Disliked: Scaffolding at all windows with with building materials stored on scaffolding boards therefore very dusty Bathroom window couldn’t open
