Just what we were looking...

Liked: Very convenient for Gare de Lyon (a 6 minute walk with wheelies). Situated in a nice quiet street. A traditional small Paris hotel but with air conditioning. Room and en suite bathroom very clean. Very acceptable continental breakfast with fresh fruit salad and other extras. Will go there again next time we are leaving from the Gare de Lyon.

Liked: Clean, modern and easy to find, plenty of access around for everything we needed, helpful staff, close walk to the batobus.

A lovely hotel

Liked: The place is clean and tidy, and the location for travelers cannot be better. Plenty of restaurants Nearby and there’s a supermarket about thinking about for five minutes work distance
Disliked: The room space is a bit tight, especially the bathroom.

Liked: No thing
Disliked: I received a room that was different from what was agreed upon on the website. The room was very small and not suitable for two people, and it took a whole day to change the room.

Basic room, poor value for...

Liked: Our train was 6 hours late and the Proprietor called me to check we were coming and stayed up till 1:30 to receive us. Good location for Gare du Lyon.
Disliked: Room 101 is a very basic room. It is sparsely furnished, no pictures, not even any glasses. When we arrived, at 1:30 am, it stank of drains and the bathroom stank more. But the snell had disappeared by morning. We would have rejected the room on account of the smell if it had not been so late. To pay €191 for a room of the quality that Travelodge would charge £50 for, even in central Paris, is poor value.
