Great location for those willing...

Liked: Private bedroom with private bath. The location close to the Royal Albert Hall was great. Within a block or two there was access to the subways, busses and taxis. Museums, restaurants, and supermarkets were all close by. The rooms are clean and there is cleaning service that replaces towels, etc. It is super helpful that they will hold your luggage if you come early or have a late flight. There is a pub that the college students go to within the property where you can get cheap beer and some munchies. We did not opt for the breakfast package as the full english fry is too many calories for more than one meal. Instead, we picked up breakfast on our way to the subway. Better selection and not too many calories.
Disliked: The rooms are part of a college dorm. Expect that and you will be happy. One of the beds was a camp bed. There were many steps going up and down even though our room was on the main level. This may be because the buildings are old and they had to make them all fit together. This is not the best for those who have walking issues. Again, the rooms are dorm rooms.

I would stay there again,...

Liked: It was a change of pace and fun for this senior citizen to stay in a college dorm. Very handy to an excellent museum and large park. We liked the room location, relative to the lobby and facing the courtyard. Filling breakfast, but lack of variety became noticeable. Acceptable walk to tube and restaurants. Vibrant atmosphere.
Disliked: It is an old college dorm. What can I say? Our initial room was spartan but adequate, and we enjoyed being there. We had to extend a night and had to transfer to a different room. It was disappointing; missing light bulb, slow sink drain, toilet seat wouldn't stay up, bathroom was a bit cramped.Hit or miss as to whether croissants and fruit would be available for breakfast.

Great location. Basic but comfortable...

Liked: Perfectly situated for the Royal Albert Hall, where I was attending a concert. It was literally 2 minutes walk from my room to the concert venue. Also plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity and close to the Science, Natural History and V&A museums. The room was very basic as you would expect, it is student accommodation, but it was clean and quiet. Reception is open 24/7 and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for the price.
Disliked: The breakfast was just about adequate, there was enough of it but the quality wasn't great. But again you have to bear in mind it's student accommodation and you're eating in the student refectory, so no real complaints.

Pleasant

Liked: The breakfast was amazing
Disliked: Unfortunately I was there during a heatwave - daytime temps all above 30 degrees and in a South facing room the heat was really uncomfortable even with a room fan and the blind down all day.
