A quiet relaxing stop over...

Liked: A small, classic manor house with lovely mature gardens and a big deep pool. Great little hide away for a special break. Nice helpful staff with a relaxed feel, very enjoyable

Very peaceful weekend getaway.

Liked: Loved the pool, that was the highlight in the hot weather! Room was comfortable and clean but could do with a better fan for the warm weather as it was very warm. Concierge and bar staff were lovely.
Disliked: Service was a little lacking - at the pool someone came to ask if we wanted any drinks and gave us a menu and then never came back. At breakfast the buffet table wasn’t being restocked with juices, cups etc so had to ask for things all the time. Food at dinner was good but extremely overpriced. I think if we came again we would eat at a pub in the village for dinner.

Booking.com failure

Liked: Bedroom and bathroom
Disliked: No air con.Room below was snoring loud so couldn't sleep. We requested a twin room with booking.com but that wasn't passed on so we had a double room which wasn't what we wanted.
