Easy parking - Military style...

Liked: Friendly host, nice breakfast, easy parking
Disliked: The room interior reminds me most of a hotel I stayed at in Scotland back in the mid 80's, utterly old fashioned, damp, and worn out furniture. Although the mattress was comfortable, I simply cannot understand that any hotel nowadays would still use the 1950's military style bedsheet and wool blanket. It takes 15 minutes for the staff to make it, and at least 5 minutes for the guest to unwind the whole thing from the mattress. Duvet please, we are in 2025 now :-)

A true home from home!

Liked: This was our third stay at The Beech House, and it’s perfect every time. The owners are welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel at home.The rooms are spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is always delicious, with plenty of choice, and the gardens are beautiful – a real bonus for relaxing after a busy day.Consistently excellent – we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Reading.

Beautiful property with parking and...

Liked: Beautiful old house, immaculately presented, outside and inside. Friendly and professional service throughout our visit. Dining area very nice garden room and breakfast was very good. Parking area a huge bonus as was the Beefeater restaurant opposite.
