Liked: Interior of the main hotel building was well laid out and well decorated. There is a number of stairs to negotiate if you park in the parking lot, which is problematical if you have heavy luggage.
Disliked: However, Room 22 was in a dreadful state. Carpet was dirty, there was a large amount of black mould on the bottom of the curtains and walls. Carpet at the French windows was wet from the rain breaching the seals. Room smelt damp. When the receptionist was asked if she had seen the room, she replied in the negative. We did get an immediate refund though. Daily cleaning staff should be reporting the state of the rooms if there is evidence of black mould anywhere within the room.

Liked: The location of the property was lovely! Looking over the lake was very special - The spa facilities were clean & relaxing and having the outdoor jacuzzi was such a bonus!
Disliked: The bed wasn’t the comfiest but overall, can’t complain!
