Would not recommend

Liked: Good locationNice decor
Disliked: I stayed here for 3 nights, thinking it would be a little bit of luxury on a works trip. Instead, I felt invisible. Most of the staff didn't give eye contact! They barely smiled, and asking for a condiment to go with your meal felt like a chore. The reception staff are a bit of a mix. 2 were very helpful, and 2 were unhelpful. The bed and pillows in room 227 are really poor and in desperate need of replacing. My back and neck are in agony! As a resident of the hotel, the facilities are not included. It's £20.00 for an hour in the pool. You also have to book a slot. Overall, I am really disappointed about my stay and would not recommend or be returning.

Great stay, perfect for meeting...

Liked: Hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast was good and staff were always helpful.
Disliked: Would have liked the room to have been re made, towels, tea tray changed after the first night rather than only done every 2 nights and 4 for the beds, i have never been in an hotel that does not change at least the tea tray, cups every day.Luckily we managed to get parked and we never moved our cars but its a shame for such a big hotel that they do not have more parking.

Liked: Good value food, excellent restaurant and staff, good view. Staff were a credit to the hotel
Disliked: Decor of rooms even though the rooms were new, the decor made it look old and worn out, the corridors were poorly lit and the doors very noisy when closed, had two very poor nights sleep. Room was overlooking air con units above kitchen and double glazing not adequate to keep the noise out. Shame as rest of hotel was lovely. Parking very poor.

Disliked: Our room was a double, actually two single beds pushed together. I have no issue with this, it was just unfortunate that my mattress had collapsed. We were only there for one night, I certainly wouldn’t have spent a second night in that bed. I did report this when we checked out. It’s a shame because otherwise we liked our stay.
