Bedford Inn

Great place for a short...

Liked: Very convenient. Easy parking.

Good

Disliked: Needing to go to another hotel for afternoon tea that used to be very special at the Bedford was very disappointing. There used to be wine and cheese and really interesting snacks but there were only veggies and a watered down drink of some sort at a location blocks from where we were staying. :-)

A perfect place to stay...

Liked: Location was EXCELLENT! A one minute walk to the beach and so close to town center! Never needed to get in the car to go anywhere once we got to the inn!! Ashley was a lovely host and the place was very clean and comfortable! We will DEFINITELY go back!
Disliked: Nothing!

Great stay!

Liked: Great perfect location, near the beach and all the activities in cape may! Ashley our host was exceptional, she did everything to make us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel is great, breakfast was delicious, and we particularly loved the outdoor showers, we pretty much only took showers outside, we will definitely come back again!
Disliked: We have no complaints.

We made the best of...

Liked: I liked the location. I liked the front porch.
Disliked: There was no real parking for our car. Once we actually got a space nearby, we Ubered everywhere we had to go from there. Parking next to the Inn was not an option for us with a full sized SUV.Also, the food was just okay - I eat a healthier way typically. The tea at the sister location was not really good.

Friendly welcome, quiet, quaint hotel...

Liked: Breakfast and afternoon tea at the sister hotel was excellent, loved the communal areas at the Bedford, that it was beautifully decorated in keeping with its age and that you could park outside despite being within walking distance of town and beach.
Disliked: We liked it all
