Beausejour Ranelagh

A mostly agreeable stay in...

Liked: Beautiful building in a very pleasant and quiet neighbourhood conveniently close to the Ranelagh metro station. Traditional French breakfast, nicely served, with the option of sitting outdoors. Lovely view from balcony. Comfortable bed and effective aircon.
Disliked: Issues over initial pre-payment authorisation when booking but resolved after communication with the hotel and booking.com.It would have been helpful if the hotel had informed us in advance about the temporary closure of the local metro line. This led to a difficult and circuitous journey to the hotel from the Gare du Nord which could have been in part avoided. Given the heat and our challenging journey, we would then have appreciated being offered some of the water that was being poured into jugs in the reception area on our arrival but sadly this did not happen. The fridge in our room didn't work and and was dirty. Otherwise, the bedroom and bathroom were clean and met our expectations.

A great place to stay...

Liked: A lovely quiet hotel in a great area of Paris. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again.
