I loved Ouray! The town,...

Liked: I loved the location and the people were very nice. The massage at the spa was really nice as well!
Disliked: I did not love the old victorian motif. I understand that it was historic, but it felt like an old funeral home. There was no energy or activity and we felt like we had to whisper. The window treatments in the room were so heavy that it was claustrophobic feeling. It really felt as if it needed an update. We moved from there to the New Sheridan in Telluride and it was much nicer and less expensive. I have stayed in my share of historic hotels and this one was not my favorite.
