Liked: It was so beautiful and the food was fantastic!! The bed was very comfortable as well.
Disliked: I would have liked the room spruced up a bit each day but our door hanger flew off the door so it wasn’t freshened up while we were there.

Liked: Breakfast, historic integrity of the house, wine hour, the two bedroom suite option was great for our family of 4
Disliked: The king size bed on the third floor is beyond firm - not a comfortable mattress! Goodness! The sitting area furniture is also not comfortable or good for gathering.

Short of Great Due to...

Liked: Beautiful historic home, great location walking distance from downtown Asheville. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: Food. We stayed over Christmas, and, I get it...no one wants to work on Christmas Eve/Day. That said, when you are in the service industry, sometimes you have to ensure the services are provided for paying guests regardless of circumstances. We had two days of "continental breakfast" at a B&B due to staff shortages, and the food on Christmas Day was terrible and insufficient for the number of guests staying.
