Hotel was central to the shops. But didn't think it was value for money.

Liked: Before booking, we read previous reviews and we were a bit unsure. However, due to bringing a rather large dog, our options are reduced and we thought it was worth a try...They gave us loads of facilities to access the premises despite arriving out of hours. \They accommodated our dog and were super friendly with us all the time. By the end of the long weekend our dog was walking around the premises as it was his home! we stayed down the pub for a drink and he took himself to bed! :D. All the staff was very complimentary of him... The room was clean and they kept it up while we were there too. Location was absolutely perfect as it was just up the hill from the centre or the river. Staff was super friendly, open and honest about any events or places worth visiting in the area. For us, personally, it is worth a stay.

Unfortunate let down this time.

Liked: Check in / Check out was simple. The staff member who greeted us was helpful on arrival.
Disliked: I have stayed at the Hotel before, in a more expensive room which was fine. Unfortunately, as it was a flying visit we chose single rooms of which, mine did not impress sadly. The walls were stained, the ceiling had black mould in the bathroom and there was a hole in the bathroom door. A single room should not be a step down in quality, only size. This room let's the hotel down badly.
