Worst day of my life

Disliked: The owners refused to offer any type of a refund when I let them know my dog had died suddenly at the animal hospital and we couldn’t get there for the night that we had paid in full. There are policies and there are people who don’t have a heart.

Wonderful location

Liked: We loved the location, so close to all the shops and restaurants and with the wonderful verandah looking out over the sea. Although the rooms look slightly bigger in the photos, they were a good size and very comfortable. The contactless check in/out worked well, especially as we had to leave very early in the morning, but was slightly impersonal. The trip to Halibut Point State Park with its dramatic quarry and granite blocks near the sea was outstanding and highly recommended.

It was fine. I wouldn't...

Liked: The motel was perfectly fine, but there was nothing outstanding or special about it. The view from our second floor room was great. And it was very close to the reason we came to Rockport, a concert at the Shailin Liu Music Center. We also like the express check-in.
Disliked: The motel could have been somewhat more accommodatingabout our request for a noon checkout. I had a class (by Zoom) from 10am-12pm, but the best I could get was an extension to 11:45. As a result, I missed a good portion of the second hour of my class.
