Great!

Liked: Friendly service . Excellent location. Great room.
Disliked: We took our pup with us, which meant we were located in the bar for breakfast, but the bar was all stacked away and no other guests in there. We felt a bit left out there . We put pup in room and they let us eat in the dining area which was appreciated. I think to check in advance rather than to assume where we would like to eat would be better.

Lovely village pub, friendly staff,...

Liked: It’s an old country village pub/hotel looked great inside and out.
Disliked: Car park a little snug but was room to park on the street if you preferred. Not a dislike but an opinion…Watering system (had window open) could hear the running water for a good while but it does a fantastic job as the hanging baskets look great.

Good but could be excellent...

Liked: The staff were welcoming and friendly. Service was very good. Food very good in general. The floral decorations outside outstanding.
Disliked: The rooms and public areas are looking tired and in need of refurbishment, particularly the dining room. The verandah underneath room 21 is rotting. At £209 per night this is disappointing.
