Excellent hotel - good value...

Liked: Lovely staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and staff were accommodating when my husband something that wasn’t shown as being available on the menu. Nice large room with both a bath and a very good shower. Very convenient for Beamish Museum.
Disliked: Some areas on the stairs are a little tired and a new carpet wouldn’t go amiss but this did not detract from our stay at all. There was a wedding on whilst we were there and the actual venue for the ceremony seems to be in a corridor that connects the reception to the bedrooms which seemed a little bizarre as it is used as a walkway

Peaceful nights stay in beautiful...

Liked: Dinner was lovely, reception and bar staff were very helpful. One of the quietest hotel stays we have had, no noise overnight. Bliss!
Disliked: Breakfast was chaotic, we were ‘greeted’ by an older lady at the door who wasn’t the most helpful, didn’t explain the service. Wrong food brought out to myself and both other tables beside me.
