Pleasant
Liked: Loved the old style manor and the history
Disliked: Breakfast was a little behind schedule but we were in a hurry to meet. If we weren’t then it would have been fine.

Very good
Liked: The location and ambience of the hotel was perfect, easy walk into town. Breakfast was lovely and well presented.
Disliked: The room was spacious and comfortable however it was really disappointing to run the juccusi bath, switch the jets on to see clumps of hair appear. The staff addressed this after raising this issue.

Exceptional
Liked: The room was tastefully decorated with a mix of antique furniture and modern touches, adding a touch of elegance to the space, The stay itself was also excellent. The staff were warm and welcoming, providing a delicious homemade breakfast each morning. The B&B was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable common area perfect for relaxing with a good book
Disliked: no way to effectively block the light from the windows

Lovely place in great location.
Liked: Lovely warm welcome and spacious room. Also gorgeous drawing room with free wine and cookies! Breakfast was great too.
Disliked: We liked almost everything. Ideally the rooms would have more electricity sockets but in an older building that’s perhaps understandable.

Outstanding host, breakfast, and stay
Liked: Quiet area with short walk to park, restaurants, waterfront, and public transportation. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful breakfasts and parlor with cookies and wine! Very personable host and team. Recommended.
Disliked: Not an issue for us but be aware the primary entrance is accessed only by a flight of stairs.
