Charming 1930s Hotel, Good Service...

Liked: Charming Art Deco Hotel from 1937. Small but cozy rooms. The location is fantastic, we came 2nd time! Free bikes and beach towels and complementary water.
Disliked: Visitors should be aware that, in a hotel from the 1930s, rooms and bathrooms are typically not very spacious- it is about setting expectations correctly. Unfortunately, the previously included breakfast has been outsourced and is no longer available.You will need to eat breakfast somewhere else. Repainting the lobby in black shouldn’t have been the priority - other than that no improvements compared to previous visit. The historic windows and elements are in need of a fresh coat of paint, and the rooms are generally not in the best condition. In particular, towel hooks are scarce the A/C did smell and the rooms were not well painted and maintained. The hotel might need a sensitive and professional renovation soon it has a ton of potential. The restaurant is obsolete and should be transformed back again into the breakfast place.
