I would recommend it highly.

Liked: All but shower.
Disliked: Shower needs safeguard - very important for seniors with handicap.

We loved the home (it feels like a home). Good service and right in the middle of everything. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I would return in the future.

Location and room were great,...

Liked: The room was clean and as described on the booking. Location was convenient and close to Harvard medical school. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.
Disliked: Front desk was never occupied, which was very inconvenient as my payment declined and I wanted to pay through an alternative method but there was no-one to talk to and no-one picked up when calling the provided number. In the end I got a somewhat angry call from the owner that I needed to pay immediately (which I had already done at that point).

Hotel in historic Boston building

Liked: Excellent location a minute walk from metro, easy to walk to shops + restaurants. Historic building, big room with sofa, comfy beds, huge TV which had streaming services, small en-suite bathroom, mini fridge, continental breakfast and friendly staff. Quiet area. Left luggage till later after check out
Disliked: There was a leak from the bathroom above which was not fixed after the first time. It must have happened before as the ceiling was water damaged. The staff were very helpful, but for the price of the room I would not expect an ongoing problem. There was a step with sharp edges around the toilet which was inconvenient in a small bathroom. The bedroom was overheated although we were advised how to turn it off. We did not need fresh towels every day. It was not possible to raise the blinds so there was no daylight. When we left our bags we thought someone would be on the premises all day but when we arrived later after giving our keys in knowing that the front and inside door would be unlocked our luggage including a laptop were not secured, just behind a screen with no staff in sight. Luckily Boston is very safe but it was disconcerting not to be advised.
