Beacon Hotel & Corporate Quarters

Liked: Comfortable bed; friendly staff; clean room.
Disliked: No refrigerator or microwave; no continental breakfast; hotel parking $40/night.

The dining experience was unimpressive. I also was not aware that the reservation was made via Priceline since I went to what I thought was the Beacon website. So, I have to go an extra step to get a printed receipt.

Liked: My room was comfortable and adequate.
Disliked: My reservation was for a king size bed but I was put into a queen. I'm assuming this is because I arrived well ahead of the standard 3pm checkin and the hotel staff was trying to get me into a room as quickly as possible.

Liked: The bed was comfy and the location was prime. My friend lives a block away which is why I chose this hotel.
Disliked: It was dirty. 2 lights didn’t work in the room. The bathroom was grimy. Wallpaper falling off the wall. A hair was in the bed. However, for what I paid, I guess it makes sense. I was expecting something a little bit cleaner and less smelling like urine.

Disliked: Not enough hang out space. Was a little confused where the restaurant started and what was hotel lobby.

Liked: - Room was spacious- beds were comfortable- Daily cleaning- Complimentary water everyday.- Walkable from National mall & white house.
Disliked: - The staff was almost nuetral, no smiles.- The hotel seem pretty old but was clean.
