Delightful stay, delicious food and...

Liked: We arrived early for check in and the member of staff on the desk said she would ring my mobile number when check in was available.We loved room no 22 in the courtyard. It was lovely to have a bath and tea/coffee making facilities.Because we had eaten lunch out in Weston, we opted for 2 starters each for our evening meal and they were delicious.The service at breakfast was delightful as was the range of food on offer.
Disliked: Our only criticism of our stay was that the beds were very springy and we would have preferred a firmer mattress.

Disliked: Rooms perhaps not as clean as they could be, nothing serious but the house keeping could pay a little more attention.

Disliked: Room above us had creaky floorboards so woke us during the night but that’s to be expected with an old building . Breakfast staff were very slow at taking our order we waited a good 20 minutes to be offered any drinks so didn’t have breakfast
