Liked: Accessible to the beach

Best sounds of the waves...

Disliked: Room had a lot of smell of cleaning product perfume but it cleard out when we opeened both doors in a while.

Passable

Liked: The location was perfect right on the trail for biking and walking along the ocean
Disliked: The room had no privacy. The room was right off the trail so people walking by could see in. and you could hear everything. The person on the second floor was doing.

Did not get the room...

Liked: The best part was the view of the beach/ocean. The room itself was adequate, nothing great.
Disliked: We paid for a downstairs room and when we arrived in the evening, we were give a second floor room. We asked for our downstairs room and were told "the hotel if full and we have nothing to offer". We questioned why our room was given to someone else, no reason was given. Strangely, We were called about 5 pm and asked if we were coming. We assured them we were on the way but were running late. We had paid for the room in advance so not sure why we were called. We suspect it was since someone wanted a downstairs room and they gave them our room. Staff was unfriendly and defensive. It was suggested to me that since I reserved this room with a "third party" I needed to call and confirm with the hotel the downstairs room. I did call many times to discuss our reservation. One time I spoke to Justin. Also, it was hot in the room and the A/C didn't work, or there was no A/C. All we know is that our room did not cool down. Overall stay was ok, just disappointing to not get the room we reserved, with no explanation.

Amazing girls getaway

Liked: The walking distance to the beach. The fire pits. The room and view were amazing. The beach was clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach was awesome.
Disliked: We loved everything!

Odd place.

Liked: My mistake, I thought that because it was called Beachcomber Hotel and Spa that there was a spa. No. There are full sized hot tubs inside some of the hotel rooms. An odd place, fairly worn, but clean enough. Nice view though.
Disliked: The price. The facilities. The amenities.
