Beachcomber Beachfront Hotel a By The Sea Resort

Liked: Room was clean when we got to hotel and A/C had been turned on to cool the room.
Disliked: The sink was stopped up and had to be plunged which left stuff on the things around the sink. The shower had no pressure and we thought it was because of the time of day. However, if you flushed the toilet or turned on the sink you got better presure. No access for free wifi which is a standard item in most places we stay. The printer had no ink so we could not print boarding pass and had to do so at the airport, taking more of our time. The desk said they were waiting on corporate to get ink to them. I would think ink would be on hand at all times.

Disliked: Elevator wasn't working, A/C wasn't keeping the room below 73°, floor and tub needed to be cleaned badly, pull out couch bed mattress wasn't fit for sleeping on

Disliked: Security, lack of cleanliness delay in receiving my security deposit still waiting I checked out on 7/20/25

Disliked: Room was dirty. I asked the first day for someone to check the air-conditioners because it never got cool inside. It stayed around 76 degrees. Nobody ever came

Not worth what we paid....

Liked: The Tiki Hut bar was good. Beach area was great. Had beach towels at the pool. Bed slept good.
Disliked: Did not get the room with a kitchen like we reserved. One of the elevators did not work, The jets in the scuzzy did not work. No umbrellas at the pool. Not enough parking spots at the condo. Had to park across the street and walk over to the condo. No coffee the first morning in the lobby area. Road construction right in front of the condo.

Liked: Overall, our stay was good. The view was great and access to the beach was nice. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Staff was nice.
Disliked: This hotel is older, so I wasn't expecting 'new and updated', but the kitchenette we paid for came with 1 pot, 3 cooking utensils, and 2 knives. So I didn't do anything other than cereal and sandwiches in the room. The parking situation made it a bit difficult, especially with the construction going on, on the road. It wasn't a quick walk across the street and it being just myself and my daughter, it made it frustrating not being able to park ON SITE.

I had a great time...

Liked: It’s on the slow end of the beach so we had full beach and pool access. The room was clean and it had a great view. Everyone was so nice and helpful!
Disliked: They didn’t service our room so I had to goLook for towels.
