Disliked: Sheets were dirty, room was filthy and had not been cleaned. I slept on top of towels becuase those seemed to be the cleanest option.

Liked: Lovely shabby chic corner of San Francisco by the beach. We had to lug our suitcases to the second floor but that was no one's fault. The only fault was the noisy trams that passed by from early in the morning but nothing my earplugs couldn't solve. Lovely beach and coffee shop a short walk away, and a great bar with live music next door (stopped at 10pm so no problems there).

Great location, and that’s about...

Liked: Great location just near the beach.
Disliked: Every comment I read was right. You can hear the train that makes the whole motel shake. The floor wasn’t even flat. The heater was in a really bad shape, and some heat came out of it even though it was off, as it’s some old school heater with flame and gaz it seems. I got a guy firing fireworks at 11pm right next to the motel. I wouldn’t say “you get what you pay for” here because for the same price i got way better motel across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Comfy, affordable, spacious & clean!

Liked: Big spacious room, clean, comfortable bed quiet neighbors.
Disliked: Can’t really think of anything. If ya don’t like the sound of trains or sensitive to bar noise from the patrons below this may not be the one for you.

Pleasant

A very unpleasant experience overall.

Liked: Proximity to the family member I was visiting.
Disliked: Nighttime noise. The hotel is on the terminus of the N-Judah trolley that runs until 12:30 AM, and is adjacent to a bar that plays loud music until 1:00. Groups of loud and boisterous (& profane) young men hang out on the street in front of the bar until after midnight. Also, the bathroom had no soap or body wash for showering and there is no elevator.
