We enjoyed everything about the...

Liked: Breakfast was amazing, we got the complimentary coupon. I also requested a late checkout. I received a Complimentary 1 hour late checkout. The guy at the check in counter was so helpful and very kind. After we checkout out , I asked if we could stay at the pool for a little while longer. He said I can do better than that, y’all can stay all day. Your parking pass is for today, you just had to check out of your room. I told him that he had just made my day . I highly recommended the Beach House Resort.
Disliked: The interior blue wallpaper and the doors to the rooms were scratched up chipped nicked and made them look very old , dirty and ugly. The blue interior wallpaper did not go with the beautiful elevator theme and the front entrance lobby. The lobby and the elevators with the shiplap is more elegant. The walls of the hallways with the blue wallpaper Just made me think it came from a cheap motel. But other than that I we enjoyed everything about the resort. I highly recommend it can’t wait to go back.

Disliked: Room was ok until we got ready for bed. We had a double room with 2 queen beds. There were bugs in one of the beds. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to change the sheets in that bed. I asked for a discount at checkout and they would only credit me the $35 resort fee. They said they could not do anything more because the stay was booked through a 3rd party...Booking.comNot happy with the outcome

Disliked: I wish there had been a bigger mini fridge, wish there was a microwave. I also wish we would have been able to open a window to get fresh air

A little let down.

Liked: Staff was extremely friendly. Hotel is very clean.
Disliked: They advertise private beach. That could not be further from the truth. Which i understand it would be hard to keep the public off, but don't advertise it. The wrist bands used for door keys to everything do not work all the time. I thought it was just me but listening to other guests everyone is having issues with them. The room itself is clean,but the fridge on the absolute lowest setting was freezing everything solid. The shower handle just spins. You have to get it just right for it to adjust the water or it just spins in circles. The tiki hut and the porch are a little pricey, but good. For the price it is not up to par. You are definitely paying for beach access.

Liked: The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The hotel is older and outdated. The a/c doesn’t work in certain hallways or the elevator. I was suppose to have a full ocean view room, and I got a partial ocean view at best. I saw the full ocean view rooms. This hotel is charging based on a lie.

The beach was nice but...

Liked: Being right on the beach was nice. It was clear that any investment in the resort was in the outside and common areas. Rooms needed updating and attention.
Disliked: The bathrooms were old,worn and looked dirty because of their age. They were very small as well. During our four night stay we spent over $1600. That money alone could have updated the bathroom to make it more appealing. Our first day we asked for the bathroom sink drain to be addressed as it was slow, and it was not. Overall, it was an uncomfortable room and did not feel clean because of the age.
