Rustic cabins are clean but...

Liked: The beds were comfortable. The cabin was clean. The property was on the lake and close to downtown Mackinaw City. We also enjoyed the free shuttle to the ferry docks (to Mackinac Island).
Disliked: There are about a dozen or more cabins and I had the wrong impression that our cabin would be on the beach/lake/water. Instead our cabin was by the busy road. When booking the cabin (at $300+/night) you assume you are on the beach. The booking website does not make that clear at all. There are only about 5-6 cabins on the beach. Also, It took about 5 minutes to run the water to get it hot for a shower.

We were excited to get...

Liked: We liked the beach so close. We liked being able to pay for the Ferry ahead of time through The Beach House. We liked the flowers out front. We liked that ice was available.
Disliked: The cabin space was just a little smaller than expected for $150 a night. It was a tight squeeze trying to get into the shower. Lack of parking.
