Beach Carousel Virginia Beach

The room was perfect and the staff was so friendly; convenient.

Liked: Friendly and very helpful.

Liked: Rooms were clean and staff very friendly.
Disliked: Both nights I stayed at Beach Carousel it was very loud, with lots of young kids partying and arguing outside my door. I went out the second night and asked for them to please shut up because they were keeping me awake and as well as my mother and sister, they had also woke up my 10-year-old son. They continued to be loud and kicking their door and arguing, so I called the office. They then went inside their room but were still loud enough to hear the arguments through the wall.

Liked: They were so nice! We stayed in room 204 and were pleasantly surprised. It’s exactly what I expected for the price. Which was perfect for us. We had plenty of space for all 5 of us, the beds were comfy, the pillows were soo comfortable, we even took a great nap on the couch. It was nice & cold, everything worked and they had a great pool.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The location is excellent! The staff was super friendly and very helpful and attentive. The pool was perfect! It seems that they have attempted to upgrade/modernize some things in the rooms, however the the things people tend to look for being present/clean/available fell short, such as a stocked kitchenette, i.e utensils, toaster/coffee pot (pictured, however not in the room itself), ice machine etc. The couch was stained and the stove/refrigerator could be a bit more clean. We did see two roaches, we understand that it is the busy season and other tenants could very well have brought them in. The A/C seemed to be struggling a bit, we know that can be typical due to intense heat and humidity as well. The provided a box fan which was nice and did help keep the room cool. All in all it was a pleasant stay! Keep up the improvements and upgrades, we'd love to see them and return even more satisfied next vaca!

Liked: Very close to beach. Super friendly staff. Smooth check in and check out. Spacious room for beach area. 2 box fans provided to help circulate air.
Disliked: A little older furniture but still functional.

Extremely uncomfortable and hot.

Liked: The staff was amazing.
Disliked: I didn’t like that the ac wasn’t working hardly at all and it was hot in my room, the futon was so thin and falling apart, also definitely didn’t like the roach I found in my brand new tote that wasn’t there when I brought it in the room. Plus had a family emergency plus the way the room was hot and had roach in it we didn’t stay the whole time and now they don’t want to give me my money back for the one night we didn’t stay because they said that our complaints about the room wasn’t made to them.
