Disliked: In order to use the kitchen, just for preparing a salad, it is advisable to better equip it with, at least, oil, salt, vinaigrette.Then, given the effects of climate change, I'd install the nets anti-mosquitoes/flies and something against the pigeons (which became a real problem, in particular, in every tourist city

Great host and central location

Liked: The location was very central, in the heart of Bordeaux. The hostesse Frederique was incredible and made me feel at home. From the moment I arrived, she picked me up from the train station because the tram was not operating. On our way to the guesthouse, she explained what the main landmarks were and then she gave me a tour of the place.The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and Frederique did her best to accommodate my time and preferences. I enjoyed the stay at Le miroir aux Fées as much as our discussions over coffee.Totally recommend it if you're visiting Bordeaux!
Disliked: If you have big luggage, the round stairs can be tricky Luckily I only had a small bag.

Liked: The location was perfect for exploring the city by foot. The owner was extremely kind smd helpful.
Disliked: The property is quite old and the stairs to my 3rd floor room were very steep and narrow. There is no elevator.
