Nice stay in Messina.

Liked: The host was helpful and nice. The room is clean. Not noisy. AC works well. Shower is good and spacious. Entrance to the room is practical. The furnishings are quite new. The window shutters and curtain provide a dark room to sleep in. There is a shared kitchen with cold water, yogurt, snacks and breakfast stuff. Capsule coffee machine and microwave was a nice touch. They said it’s for breakfast but it’s always open. Hotel located in a nice part of town, a short walk to duomo and touristic attractions. The train station is walkable but we took a city bus which drops you off 3 minutes away from the b&b. All in all it’s in a nice part of town.
Disliked: The room we stayed in was a bit tight, so it might be a problem for those planning to stay for longer times. They have bigger rooms.

Liked: The apartment was nice, spacious, and clean. Host were super nice.
Disliked: I was expecting a better breakfast—there were mostly just foil-wrapped croissants

Close to ferries

Liked: We liked the location since we were going to be catching a ferry the next morning. The room met all our needs.

Good value, tastefully decorated accomodation...

Liked: A friendly and helpful host and a tastefully furnished room and shared kitchen with drinks and nice self-service breakfast. The accomodation shows that a lot of thought and care has gone into the accomodation. Great for a solo female traveller - close to public transport and a short walk from the duomo and centre.
