Cozy BnB with authentic breakfast...

Liked: Quiet neighborhood close to everything. Piazza Aldrovandi nearby with streetfood and drinks at night. Great and “authentic” breakfast at nearby cafe.

Clean room in a handy...

Liked: Friendly welcome from a young man who was not the owner. Comfortable room with air-conditioning and a fridge, which were essential in the hot weather. Good bathroom. Tea and coffee-making facilities. Handy location in a quiet street with an easy walk into the town centre.
Disliked: Unfortunately, there was hardly anywhere to put things, as there were no drawers in the room, or hooks to hang things on. There was a large wardrobe, but the rail was about 10 feet up in the air at the very top. There was a pole to assist with bringing the hangers up and down, but it was extremely awkward to use and the first time I tried, I managed to unhook the rail itself, which was just sitting in two cup hooks. It fell down and, as there was no chair in the room (only two high stools at a sort of breakfast bar), I was unable to climb up to replace it. I went back into the hallway to speak to the young man who had let us in, but he had already left, and we never met or saw any staff for the rest of our stay, so we were unable to get it mended and I couldn't hang anything up. The shelves in the wardrobe were full of blankets and spare pillows, so we couldn't use the shelves to store our clothes either. We were given no information about what to do on leaving, and the young man who welcomed us on arrival didn't know, so we just left the keys on the little desk in the hallway. Would have liked more contact and information from the owners. They also need to move the rail in the wardrobe lower down, so it is in a usable position.

Feeling Welcomed in Bologna

Liked: A lovely place to stay in the very heart of Bologna, yet in a very quiet street where local people live. The staff was very friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions a traveler might have. The room was clean and well equipped. Definitely choosing this b&b again when coming back to Bologna!

Liked: Room was cozy in the bed was very comfortable. The cleaner came and cleaned it very thoroughly every day.
Disliked: Lack of daylight. There was just one very small window facing other windows of the building. if you're planning to spend the whole day outside that variable, but it's not the room to stay in during the daytime.Also, there is no reception, so be mindful that you need to arrange the key pick up directly from the host when you arrive at a specific time.
