I would definitely stay again,...

Liked: The location of B&B 1669 is excellent, just close enough to everything without being right in the middle of the action. The building is beautiful, with only 3 rooms/suites in it, so it felt private and quiet. The room has a beautiful rustic charm to it, all floor boards, big windows and a comfortable bed. The breakfast set up in the building next door was nice and the car parking space was not too far away and a safe, secure place to leave the car.
Disliked: We booked this as a family of 4 with a 12yo boy & 14yo girl. We were all less than impressed by the lack of door on the bathroom! Not only that, the curtain didn’t fully cover the opening and being unlined you could see through it when the light was on. This just made what was generally a lovely place just all unnecessarily uncomfortable at times. The shower is the other area that needs addressing, it practically floods the floor, the request is to close the shower curtain, but the rings are fixed so you can’t. These are just small issues but they did impact our family stay and could be resolved.

Liked: The buildings are beautiful and it was a nice surprise to have access to 3 of them. The breakfast was lovely. The buildings and breakfast rooms/lobby smelled so good, with soothing music playing. It was so helpful to be able to easily leave our luggage before check-in, and/or after check-out. The staff were very helpful.

Perfect location; exceptional host.

Liked: The host at this property was fabulous. He upgraded our room when we got there. The room was huge, the bed was very comfy and the AC was perfect during a June stay. Breakfast was in the building next door and was very nice. It is in a great location to explore Bruges without being right in the centre of it all so it was a nice quiet stay. There is motorbike parking just across from the hotel outside the Cathedral.
