Stressful and subpar

Liked: Do NOT stay here! Overpriced with terrible guest services.
Disliked: This is no resort. This is a road side motel. The “pool” is tiny and has no deep end so be aware of that. The first night of our stay we heard a clicking sound all night. Turned out to be a malfunction of their key card system which generates the electricity in the room. We had no idea where this noise was coming from and it kept us up all night. The manager said he would fix it . In the meantime we asked for a refund for the first night, and they argued and bargained with us on the amount. They agreed to 20% off but it turned out they only wanted to give 20% off of the first night and not the total. No apology - no resolution and no fixing of the issue. Also - when we checked in they asked if we wanted maid service and we said yes. The next morning we reminded front desk of this. Day came and went and no service. When we asked about it they said they could do it at 6pm which was too late as we were resting in the room until dinner. They had no cleaning wipes or rags in the fitness room and when i asked for some they said they would get something for me. But they didn’t until i asked again. Have been texting with the manager about the amount of refund and asked to speak with the owner directly. The owner refused. Very disappointing. Not a place I would ever recommend.
